Step-by-Step Warranty Claim Process

Step 1: Submitting the Warranty Claim Form

To begin the warranty repair process, I visited the NutriMill warranty claim page and filled out the online warranty claim form. The form required the following details: product name, model number, purchase date, and a detailed description of the issue. I also needed to upload my dated sales receipt as proof of purchase. Proper documentation is essential for warranty service approval.

Step 2: Waiting for Further Instructions

After submitting my claim, it took about 2-3 business days for the NutriMill customer service team to respond. They emailed me further instructions, including a form to print, fill out, and return with my defective product. One important note: they only wanted the milling heads and motor unit, not the plastic container or other accessories. This saved much space when packaging.

Step 3: Shipping the Mill

I had to pay for shipping out of pocket, which is standard for warranty claims. I carefully disassembled the mill, packaged the motor and milling head components, and shipped them to the authorized repair center in St. George, Utah. My package shipped out on June 21st.

Step 4: The First Replacement Arrives

By July 8th, I received my replacement milling head. The included repair quote explained that the plastic housing around the milling head was cracked, allowing flour into the mill housing and out the vents. Since it wasn’t repairable under their service options, they replaced the entire mill head and motor at no extra cost under warranty coverage.

Step 5: The Unexpected Second Issue

Unfortunately, when I reassembled the machine and tested it, the mill would not turn on at all. The motor speed wouldn’t engage, and there was no power whatsoever. This time, I contacted NutriMill by phone rather than waiting for email responses.

Step 6: Complete Machine Replacement

The service team apologized for the experience and sent a completely new NutriMill Classic grain mill rather than attempting another repair. The new machine arrived on July 16th and included a prepaid return label to ship back the broken unit. This was a great option since I didn’t have to pay additional shipping costs for the return.

Total Timeline and Final Thoughts

The entire process took nearly a month from start to finish. While that may seem long, I appreciated NutriMill’s commitment to making things right. In the meantime, I continued milling with my NutriMill Harvest.
